Born from a trip to Kyoto
Based a stone's throw from Madrid's iconic Puerta del Sol, the software development boutique Soamee was conceived during a visit to Kyoto.
Co-founders Javier Manzano (CEO) and Juan Gutierrez Ortega (COO) were inspired by the elegance and aesthetics of Zen rock gardens and decided to name their company after the Japanese painter and landscape architect, Sōami.
The calm and orderly components of his gardens matched the kind of clean, quality software they wanted to create together.
With backgrounds in the startup world and consulting, we initially focused on helping new businesses, but have since expanded our horizons to include all types of companies.
Whether the project is large or small, Soamee promises to deliver code as layered and immaculate as a plate of freshly cut sushi (after all, we almost named the company after "Tataki", the Japanese art of preparing fish).
